Kathleen M. Bochman joined Fidelity Investments as managing director of ESG Research in September, according to Pamela Holding (Fidelity’s cohead of equity asset management and sustainable investing).
Ms. Bochman will be a great fit because she brings significant industry experience to Fidelity. She has held various roles such as portfolio manager, analyst, managing director, and portfolio manager,” Ms. Holding stated in a LinkedIn post.
Ms. Bochman will work closely with Rina KupferschmidRojas, our new chief sustainability officer to ensure consistency with Fidelity’s overall corporate sustainability program and strategy, Ms. Holding said.
Charles Keller, a spokesperson for Fidelity, did not immediately reply to an email asking for more information about Ms. Bochman’s appointment.
Ms. Bochman was vice-president and director of ESG for Loomis Sayles.
Loomis Sayles is searching for Ms. Bochman’s replacement, according to Erin Heard, a spokeswoman.
Ms. Heard stated that David Waldman, the firm’s CIO, will be acting as interim head of ESG, until a replacement is found.
Fidelity had $4.2 trillion in assets as of June 30, while Loomis Sayles had $358 billion.
