Colliers, a leading diversified investment management company (NASDAQ: CIGI), today announced Elevate the Built Environment as its new strategic framework. It is designed to embed best practices in the environment, governance, and governance (ESG). The strategy focuses Colliers efforts on three core areas to address the material issues identified by the company through strong stakeholder engagement. Elevate the Environment: Minimize environmental impacts in Colliers operations and through client service to improve the health of the planet. Elevate Inclusiveness – Increase diversity, equity, and inclusion at Colliers and through its procurement practices to foster inclusive and engaged environments. Elevate Health & Wellbeing – promote health and wellbeing through Colliers’ operations as well as client services to improve lives. Colliers will develop and implement tactical plans and targets in accordance with its values to do what is right for clients, employees, and communities. Colliers today pledges to elevate the environment by setting a science-based goal through the Science Based Targets Initiative’s (SBTi), Business Ambition for 1.5?C program and achieving Net Zero for its operations by 2030. The company, which is a leader in commercial realty, will also develop and deliver a Net Zero program that helps building owners, investors, occupiers, and others reduce or eliminate their building-related emissions. Jay Hennick, Colliers’ Global Chairman and CEO, stated that ESG is the blueprint for doing right. Hennick was proud to expand his commitments in these crucial areas. “Our innovative people will continue to deliver outstanding results to Elevate The Built Environment for our clients and communities, as well as Colliers. This journey will include achieving net zero for our organization and reducing SBTi emissions by 2030. This new position in the Colliers senior leadership team demonstrates Colliers’ commitment to improving its environmental impact and creating economic and social value throughout the organization. Drygas will partner with regional leaders and experts and work closely with senior executives to ensure the execution of the company’s ESG strategy around the globe. This includes the development of tactical plans as well as measurable targets. He will also ensure that the right programs are in place to support the achievement of our ESG goals and our growth goals. Sean’s leadership comes just as we release our first Global Impact Report earlier in the year. He is a strong leader who will help Elevate the Built Environment with strong tactics. Becky Finley (Global Chief Brand & People officer) said that they are delighted to have him aboard. “Sean’s extensive experience in sustainability, vision for delivering meaningful changes, and past successes in implementing ESG programs give us confidence that our impact will be greater.” Drygas was previously vice president at Spark Power Group. He managed sales, marketing, product development and sustainability solutions. He also drove commercial and industrial adoption of green energy solutions. “I am thrilled to join Colliers at this pivotal moment to work alongside the talented regional and global teams as we Elevate The Built Environment,” said Sean Drygas. “I look forward building on Colliers ESG initiatives to accelerate both the success of our clients and our teams.” About Colliers
