Caesarstone’s 2020 ESG Report was prepared using a framework that used the Global Reporting Initiative (“GRI”) standards and aspects of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (“SASB”) as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (“UNSDGs”). Caesarstone aligned with five of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that focus on Climate Action, Good Health and Well-Being, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure, and Responsible Consumption and Production.
Caesarstone based its evaluation on the results of the evaluation established sustainability goals that were centered around the core areas of sustainable products, environmentally responsible production, health and safety, and social responsibility.
Caesarstone’s 2020 ESG Report outlines the ESG goals. However, Caesarstone also includes portions of its ESG report that address the actions Caesarstone took and continues to take in support of its employees and communities in the wake the global COVID-19 pandemic.
