BETHESDA, MD BUSINESS WIIRE)–Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, NYSE: PEB (the “Company”) announced today that it published its third annual Environmental Sustainability and Social Responsibility Report. This report covers the Company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) performance for 2020 and its commitment towards environmentally sustainable business practices and social accountability to its employees and stakeholders.

We are the largest owner of urban and resort-style hotels in the United States and we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint as well as fostering inclusive growth within our company, our portfolio, and beyond. We made significant progress in 2020 with new initiatives such as the establishment of our Racial Equity and Inclusion Team. To celebrate diversity and empower women, we also opened Hotel Zena Washington DC. Pebblebrook’s 2021 Environmental Sustainability & Social Responsibility Report aligns with international reporting standards, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (“GRI”) and includes disclosures from Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (“SASB”) and, for the first-time, reflects Pebblebrook’s commitment to understanding, planning, and managing sustainability risks through the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosure (“TCFD”). Pebblebrook also pledged support for inclusive and diverse workplaces and committed to the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion.
