NEW YORK –(BUSINESS WIRE).-Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA), releases research that compares climate commitments made by the European Union and Group of Seven (G-7) countries, China, India and Russia at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties. The research was released in conjunction with the COP26, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, from October 31 to November 12.
These countries are the most under pressure to adopt climate mitigation policies. They have the highest global CO2 emissions, and the highest absolute greenhouse gas (GHG), emissions. KBRA monitored the COP26 proceedings in order to understand how commitments by countries will impact international climate investment and promote a low-carbon transition.
