BOSTON—-(BUSINESS WIRE), Dec 6, 2021–Amundi US announced today that Annie Chor Joyce, Head of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG), has joined the Amundi US, Amundi’s US business. Amundi is one of the ten largest asset managers in the world. 1 The appointment takes effect December 6. Joyce will be responsible to drive the ESG strategic direction in the US. She will collaborate closely with senior leadership, global ESG team, investment management, marketing, distribution teams across the firm globally and with industry partners. She reports to Lisa Jones, President & CEO of Amundi US and Head of Americas, as well as Elodie Laugel Chief Responsible Investment Officer, Amundi, based in Paris. Joyce’s appointment is in line with Amundi’s recent commitment to decarbonization efforts through participation in the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative.
Lisa Jones stated, “Annie has a wealth of experience in a variety of issues and organizations related to responsible investing. Her background gives her a solid foundation to lead our ESG strategy here in the US. She has worked with wealth and institutional investors in the impact investing spectrum, both in public and private markets. She comes to Amundi US from MSCI Inc. ESG Research, where her role was Vice President, ESG Consult. She was responsible for MSCI’s fixed-income ESG coverage. She also worked closely with institutional clients to integrate ESG and climate strategies into their enterprise, investment decisions-making, product development activities, and product development activities. Prior to MSCI Inc., ESG Research, she was Vice President, ESG Consultant. She previously worked at Barclays Capital, Global Markets, and a B.S. in Economics.
