LONDON– (BUSINESS WIRE)–Moody’s today announced that Julia Haake has been appointed Managing Director for Market Strategy within Moody’s ESG Solutions Group. Ms. Haake will take on the responsibility of articulating Moody’s ESG strategy and commercial sustainability, as well as driving alignment across teams to maximize market impact. Andrea Blackman, Global Head for Moody’s ESG Solutions, will be Ms. Haake’s report.

Ms. Haake’s role will be to direct Moody’s ESG Solutions’ outreach and research to further enhance its position in ESG thought leadership. She will also oversee the group’s methodology team, which adapts to meet the changing needs of customers and policymakers.
Moody’s is Ms. Haake’s new employer. She comes from ISS, where her ESG business unit’s leadership team included Ms. Haake. Since 1993, she has been involved in sustainability and ESG research, first as a researcher at German Wuppertal Institute, then at Versailles University in France where she completed her PhD in environmental economics. Ms. Haake held various roles at O2 France, La Poste Group, and Oekom, the German ESG research house.
